My word! Lexical exercises in Polish as a foreign language at A1 level

Word I Give! Is a textbook for teaching Polish vocabulary at the elementary level (A1). It acts as a guide, showing students and teachers natural ways to easily, quickly and effectively memorize lexical material. The creation of tasks was guided by a multisensory approach; new information is transferred through auditory, visual and kinesthetic channels. The techniques and methods of memorizing vocabulary contained in the book are consistent with the natural mechanisms of human memory, the functioning of our brain, neurological and neurophysiological processes responsible for the act of learning. A variety of working techniques are proposed: mind maps, generating whole language structures, repetition, organizing, verbalizing, listening and categorizing. Thanks to this approach, the textbook has a universal character and can be addressed to both adults and school-aged children and, most importantly, to people from different cultural backgrounds. The workbook Word I Give! is an excellent aid for introducing new lexical material in class as part of a regular course, as well as for self-study at home.
